Eating Healthy Can Be Easy. Here's Some Ideas to Get Started!
When my journey with healthy eating began it was really hard to make the switch. I grew up in Texas so I had a handful of southern meals I knew how to cook. On the nights I was too tired my "go to" was the Drive-thru. I had a taste for fat and salty so the thought of preparing healthy dinners at home didn't seem too appetizing.
I was able to make the shift but it took me a long time to get there. I made a lot of boring meals before discovering that healthy eating could be easy and delicious. Today there are many options to cook fast healthy meals. A popular option is specialty meal kits such as Blue Apron and HelloFresh. These are great but for many they may not be affordable or sustainable for the long run. Not to mention, some of the kits still require a lot of preparation.
I'm sure you know how to eat healthy but the issue you may be running into is not having enough time to cook. Or perhaps you don't know what to cook. Sure you can find an abundance of recipes online but that's even a little overwhelming. You still have to make time to sift through them.
That's why I'm including just a few ideas to get you started. Even if you just start small and focus on making one new recipe a week, you will add more variety and make it easier for yourself.
