I have always been the one in my family who pursued fitness as a lifestyle. Fitness has served as an outlet for me as I faced challenges in life. From a young age I was interested in weightlifting and pursued it. After a decade of hard work and training, I achieved my goal of being awarded a national and world champion powerlifter.
I graduated from East Carolina University in 2013 with a Bachelors of science in Health and Fitness Specialist. I have been personal training since 2011, and have experience doing private and group trainings as well as classes. My certification is through the American College of Sports Medicine, which is the gold standard of the fitness industry. My specialties are functional fitness, weightlifting, and conditioning. I am currently in graduate school at Southeastern Baptist Theological seminary for a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry. My hobbies include painting, cooking, writing, and movies.
Over the years I have performed a variety of physical activities including marathon running, brazilian jiu jitsu, rock climbing and yoga. I have learned there are many avenues to keep you physically fit and I hope to find the right fit for you. I have worked with a variety of individuals including those who have never exercised, individuals who need to rehabilitate, mixed martial arts competitors, and marines. If you are interested in taking the next step in your physical fitness I will help you get there. The joy I found in exercise is one of the greatest passions of my life, and i hope to share it with you.
